BMI insights
Obesity is associated with poorer COVID outcomes, so our app community is on a mission to lower its BMI. We assess BMI levels across our community and see what lifestyle habits happier and healthier people tend to practise. We’re also discovering other factors that are linked to a lower BMI.
Scroll down to explore some of the insights we’ve discovered from the app community and find out how you can contribute to this exciting research.
What factors are associated with a lower BMI?
The chart compares people in the Evergreen app community who have a healthy BMI with those who have a BMI of over 25. It’s well known that those with lower BMIs are less likely to have a diabetes diagnosis. What’s more surprising is that they are likely to report feeling happier.
And this is just the tip of the iceberg! There’s so many more insights and tips to discover through the app.
Why do insights matter?
Knowing these insights and unlocking more in the app can help you discover approaches that people in the app community are taking to stay happy and well. It’s all about seeing where you might fit in with the trends and learning from each other different ways to feel fitter, healthier and happier.
