Evergreen Life, Manchester-based personal health record service provider, is now connected to the three major GP systems in England, giving 55 million people access to their GP electronic medical record.
The recent go live with the Vision GP system is the final stage of connecting people with their medical record through Evergreen Life’s service – earlier this year Evergreen Life connected to EMIS Health and TPP GP systems. With this connection, people can view and download their electronic medical record, book appointments and order repeat prescriptions online. Our Patient facing Services are fully assured by the NHS, so people can safely and securely access their medical record.
Evergreen Life empowers people to own and share their health record – whenever, wherever and with whomever they choose. People can use online GP services and track their own health information such as allergies, conditions, measurements and store documents and letters related to their health, giving a truly personal health record that combines both medical and personal data.
Evergreen Life is helping surgeries promote online services with promotional resources and system configuration guides to make the transition for practices easier. Dr Brian Fisher, London-based GP and Strategy Director at Evergreen, said “by working together with practices, we’re helping people take more control over their health and care. We’re happy to support practices increase the uptake of online patient services. It saves time and makes services safer for all.”
Stephen Critchlow, the founder of Evergreen Life, commented “Sharing medical records can change the way people manage their own care. A key part of this is sharing information between patients, doctors and health professionals. By connecting with all major GP systems in the NHS, this supports our vision of people powered health – putting people at the centre of their own health.”
