Evergreen Life and Healthera partner to expand access to NHS Pharmacy First and community pharmacy services for millions of patients

Partnership launches in the Evergreen Life app with potential to reach 3.5 million users over time through wider GP service integrations, connecting patients with more than 1,700 participating pharmacies nationwide.

Evergreen Life has partnered with Healthera to enable millions of patients to book NHS Pharmacy First consultations and a growing range of community pharmacy services directly through the Evergreen Life app.

The integration gives Evergreen Life’s 1.5 million app users access to Healthera’s nationwide network of community pharmacy partners, making it easier to receive same-day care for common conditions without needing a GP appointment. The partnership is also expected to expand through GP practices using Evergreen’s askmyGP digital triage tool, with the potential to reach up to 3.5 million users as more sites adopt the service.

Integrated with Evergreen Life’s personal health record app and askmyGP at participating GP practices, patients will be able to search for nearby participating pharmacies, view appointment availability in real time and book services including NHS Pharmacy First directly within the Evergreen Life app for in-person appointments and video calls.

The partnership supports the NHS’s ambition to shift more care into community pharmacy, helping patients access treatment more quickly while reducing pressure on general practice. Community pharmacies offer clinical consultations, prescribing where appropriate, vaccinations and a growing range of NHS and private healthcare services — by making these easier to discover and book, Evergreen Life and Healthera aim to improve access for patients while helping pharmacies make better use of available appointment capacity.

“Patients increasingly expect healthcare to be as easy to access as other digital services. By partnering with Healthera, we’re making it simpler for millions of people to connect with community pharmacies and receive timely care when they need it,” said Stephen Critchlow, Executive Chairman of Evergreen Life.

“Community pharmacies have the clinical expertise and capacity to treat many common conditions, yet too many patients still default to contacting their GP first. By bringing Pharmacy First directly into Evergreen Life, we’re making pharmacies more visible and accessible, helping patients receive care sooner while supporting the NHS to use its resources more effectively,” commented Quintus Liu, Founder & CEO of Healthera.

The service is available through the Evergreen Life app from 30 July 2026.
